To assure a safe playing environment, all players must know and abide by the rules

All players must review our safety video and rules before playing. Please take a few minutes to review before you arrive.

  • Please do not print out the waiver, we do not accept or keep paper waivers on file.
  • All rifles must have a barrel sock covering the muzzle and all side arms must be securely holstered when not on the play floor. We do sell barrel covers should you need it.
  • ALL personal replicas entering the facility must be covered, in a bag or box. There are to be NO exposed replicas in the parking lot or outside the facility at any time.
  • We do not allow outside food or beverages in our facility. We do have a stocked snack bar with items for purchase that includes pizza and other hot items, as well as bottled and fountain drinks. You may bring water in a canteen, reusable bottle or hydration pack from home. Birthday cakes or cupcakes are allowed for scheduled parties and events only.
  • We have a zero tolerance on bullying. Any intentional name calling, intimidation, posturing or harassment will result in your immediate expulsion from our facility, without refund.

All players must watch a safety briefing before entering the play floor. It is highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with our rules before your visit. Any player who violates our rules will be required to re-watch the entire safety briefing.

Any intentional destruction or defacement of any area in the facility will result in immediate expulsion from the facility, without refund, and will result in charges for repair.

NO real firearms or live ammunition are allowed anywhere on the property or in the facility. This is for your own safety and the safety of those around you.

This space is for parents and spectators only. There should be no gear, equipment, or players in this space at any time. While spectators are welcome in the players’ lounge, players are not allowed in the DMZ at any time.

  • This is a public space, leave personal property at your own risk. HGA is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. Do not touch equipment or property that does not belong to you. (We DO have cameras monitoring the facility at all times.)
  • No foul language – this is a family friendly facility.
  • Please dispose of garbage in designated receptacles.

Equipment Requirements

  • We have all necessary equipment to play available for rent. (Guns, ammo, magazines, vests, masks, batteries, etc.)
  • All replicas are checked via our chronograph every visit
  • all electric guns must shoot under 1.14 Joules or lower, as measured with a .20g BB, to be allowed in the play arena. (Rentals are available if your replica is shooting over the limit.)
  • After your initial chrono check, all guns are subject to random chrono checks throughout the day – If you fail a secondary chrono check at any time, you will be asked to leave for the remainder of the day.
  • Note: Eye and Face protection will be checked during the chrono process.
    • Full face and eye protection must be worn by all players and employees entering the play arena. NO EXCEPTIONS! Always consider the play floor “hot” whether you see other people present or not. Failure to follow protective gear requirements will result in your immediate expulsion from the facility, without refund.
    • Approved gear: Full hard ANZI rated face masks OR full seal ANZI rated goggles PLUS a hard-structured lower mask that covers nose, cheeks, and chin.
    • No mesh goggles or soft-structured lowers allowed.
    • Eye and face protection will be checked during chrono process.
  • We only allow high quality BB Brands in our arena. This is strictly enforced! While we do not require you buy them at our facility, the Evike Outpost Houston store does sell BBs at a competitive price.
  • Rule of thumb: BBs below .20 grams or with visible seams are considered poor quality.
  • All triggers must have trigger movement with noticeable take-up and NO side-slop. (Triggers are not buttons!)
  • All replicas must have a functional trigger guard.
  • No more than one finger in the trigger guard at a time.
  • Must maintain positive control with pistol grip.
  • All guns must have a functioning safety (your gun can not fire with safety engaged) .Guns produced FROM the MANUFACTURER without a safety are allowed.
  • .84 Joules or lower, as measured with a .20 BB, to be allowed in the play arena. (Rentals are available if your replica is shooting over the limit.) MUST HAVE TOURNAMENT LOCK OR REGULATOR LOCKED
  • GATE SYSTEM LIMITS (FREE programming available).
  • No equalizer.
  • Must have at least one optical sensor of take-up.
  • You may use grenades/Thunder Bs. They must expel BBs or make a sound to count as kills. They have a 15 ft effective radius.
  • Pyrotechnic Grenades may be used AFTER clearance from referee. You MUST have your pyro checked and cleared prior to use. A referee should NEVER be surprised by pyro. Failure to pre-disclose your pyro will result in immediate expulsion from the facility without refund.
  • We do NOT allow smoke of any kind.
  • We typically do not allow shields. There may be an occasional exception to this rule with prior approval from referee for certain game types.

General arena rules

  • All players must be 10 years old or older. Please note, that Airsoft is an extreme sport that can cause pain and/or skin abrasions on impact. There may be loud noises, dimly lit areas and large crowds. Please evaluate your individual child to make sure this is a suitable environment for them regardless of age.
  • Face mask and eye protection must always be worn. If you are in the arena without face protection, you will be ejected from play for the remainder of the day without refund.
  • Must have close-toed shoes. Long sleeve shirts and pants are highly recommended. (The more padding the better!)
  • Use the honor code; call your hits and return to re-spawn area. Cheating will not be tolerated! Talk to a referee if you see cheating.
  • No blind fire – You must have your eyes on target before shooting.
  • No over shooting! Stop firing as soon as your target indicated they were hit. No shooting players returning to spawn.
  • No physical contact with other players at any time. No kicking doors. No jumping over barriers. No running into walls.
  • Do not argue with other players or referees. Referees have the final say.
  • No foul language, we are a family-friendly environment.
  • Anything not expressly written in the rules is up to the official (referee).
